Guests are welcome at Meetings.  Most meetings have a meal and tastings of
commercial and homemade wines.  Contact the Guild President for directions.

2006
January - Restaurant meeting at Joe’s Pasta N Pizza in Plano.
February - Tasting and discussion of blueberry wines made in November 2004.  
March - Presentation on winemaking by Jim Evans of Lone Oak Winery, Valley View.
April -  Meeting at a member's home.  
May - Tour of Grayson Hills Winery in Whitewright.  Education committee formed.  
June - Demonstration and discussion about grafting, rootstock, hybridizing, &
disease-free varieties by a member.
July - Meeting at a member's home with tasting of homemade Blueberry wine.  
September - Restaurant meeting at Joe’s Pasta N Pizza in Plano. Education on
winemaking nutrients.  
October - Meeting at a member's home. Education on what it takes to open a
commercial winery.  
November - Meeting at a member's home. Officer nominations, ideas for education
and 2007 calendar.  
December - Restaurant meeting & holiday party at Porta de Roma in Plano.  

2005
January - Restaurant meeting at Picasso's Italian Restaurant in Plano.
February - Grapevine pruning lesson at Lone Oak Vineyard, Valley View.
March - Grapevine planting lesson at a member's home.
April - Demonstration of new bottle filling equipment at a member's home.
May - Volunteer work at the Denton Wine on the Square Festival
- Meeting with TWGGA about amateur winemaking in Texas and tour of Grapevine
wineries.
June - Tour of San Martino Winery in Rockwall.  
August - Restaurant meeting at Joe’s Pasta N’ Pizza in Plano.
September - Blind tasting of 22 wines at a member's home.  
October - Oktoberfest with German food & wine at a member's home.
November - Italian food & wine at a member's home.  
December - Holiday Party at a member's home.

2004
February - Pruning and Planting event at Lone Oak Vineyards, Valley View.  The
meeting continued at a member's home.  Racked the Merlot.  
March - Presentation on Home Winemaking Competitions.  Homemade Wine Blind
Tasting.  Guild Logo contest winner was announced & Flyer launched.
April - Bottled Merlot at a member's home.  Earlier in the day, a member presented a
class on making wine from kits.  
June - Picnic & tour at the Grand Opening of the San Martino Winery, Rockwall.
July - Brush Creek Vineyard visit with winemaking and grape growing instruction.
September - Setting the 2005 Calendar.  Meeting at a member's home.
October - Fiesta and Blind Homemade Wine Tasting at a member's home.  
Launched a web site.  
November - Demonstration of making Blackberry wine at a member's home.
December - Holiday party at a member's home.  

2003
September - North Texas Winemakers Guild founded.
October - Blind tasting at a member's home.
November - Discussion of winemaking techniques and processes, hayride and
vineyard tour at Lone Oak Vineyard, Valley View.  Established a Yahoo Group.
December - Holiday Gathering, Mystery Wine Tasting, & Wine Gift Exchange.
